The “Voices of the Tea Party” e-book series, which will launch on April 19 with the release of three pamphlet-length e-books by proven tea party activists, is the beginning of our overall effort to provide content that is not only of and about the Tea Party, but is also of interest to the movement. A dozen pamphlets have already been commissioned, and we are actively soliciting more. We will also invite tea party members to submit pamphlet proposals to Broadside’s editors, thereby lowering barriers to publication for citizen-activists and other nonprofessional writers.
But we needed additional help, and that’s why we’ve invited a number of tea party activists from around the country to start this blog off today by answering two questions:
–What topics would you like to see addressed in the books, ebooks, and essays we publish? –What classic texts should be more widely read by tea party leaders and activists?
You can see their answers below.
In a few weeks, we’ll add the comment function to this website. In the meantime, we would like to hear your thoughts on these questions. You can reach me directly by messaging me and the other members of our advisory board on Twitter.
